The Human Resources functions are coordinated by the Town Administrator and the Treasurer's Office. The goal is to assist Town officials, employees and prospective employees in a fair, consistent and lawful system of personnel administration based on principles that ensure a uniform, fair and efficient application of personnel policies.

- Administering the Town of Bernardston's Personnel Policies & Procedures
- Centralized record keeping
- Administering employee compensation plan and benefit programs
- Managing Town employee recruitment, selection and onboarding
- Monitoring personnel actions of all Town departments to ensure legal and policy compliance
- Coordination of benefits for retired employees
