Regional Repair/Fix-It Days
These events are free and open to all Franklin County residents.
The Franklin County Solid Waste District and the Franklin County Tech School are hosting the 2nd annual Franklin County Regional Repair Event on Saturday, May 30th from 10 am – 1 pm at the Tech School, 82 Industrial Blvd, Turners Falls.
Students, instructors, and local fixers will be on hand. Every effort will be made to repair your item(s). Antiques and heirlooms cannot be fixed at this event.

There is a West County Fix-it Day scheduled for Saturday, June 13th from 11-2 at the Colrain Grammar Elementary School, 22 Jacksonville Rd. This event is open to all Franklin County residents and is free. On Saturday, June 27th from 11-2 there will be a fix-it/repair event at the Conway Grammar School. Save the date! More details will be posted soon.
On Saturday, August 15th there will be a fix-it/repair event at Mahar Regional High School in Orange. Save the date! More details will be posted soon.
We may need to limit the number of repairs per participant based on the number of participants waiting for a repair slot. Fixers will do their best to repair items. Some items may not be fixable. Fixers and organizers will not be responsible for damages.

Hours of Operation: Thursdays & Saturdays, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Permits for Leyden Residents can be obtained, in-person at the Transfer Station
Annual Fee is $75.00
Transfer Station Bags are available at the Transfer Station
and Marshall Country Store in Bernardston
10 bags for $25.00
Pay online, check or money order - NO CASH!
All Bernardston residents can use the Greenfield Transfer Station year-round.
The Greenfield Transfer Station accepts a wide variety of materials.
