A Season of Play, Learning, and Community for Local Kids
As families begin planning for the warmer months ahead, Bernardston’s 2026 Summer Camp Program is pleased to share this year’s registration details, pricing options, and weekly themes. Whether your child is joining us for the full season or selecting a few favorite weeks, the program offers flexible choices designed to make summer fun accessible for everyone.
Registration & Discount Options: Registration opens Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, and families have two convenient ways to enroll their child/children in this year’s Summer Camp Program: 1) Register online by clicking the "Online Services" Blue Tab to your left, or 2) Submit a completed paper registration form available for print online or pick up at Town Hall with a check or money order made out to “Town of Bernardston.” Families who plan to attend all seven weeks can take advantage of a significant discount. Payments made before May 22 are $1,050 for the first child and $1,000 for multiple children. Payments made after May 22 are $1,140 for the first child and $1,100 for multiple children. For families looking for a shorter schedule, the Pick 4 option allows you to choose any four weeks for $625 for the first child or $600 for multiple children. Weekly pricing remains flexible as well. A single week of camp is $175 for the first child, $150 for the second, and $135 for the third or more children. To make budgeting easier, families may choose a three‑part payment plan, with installments due on May 15, June 5, and June 19.
Program Philosophy & Community Mission: Bernardston’s Recreation and Vision is dedicated to building a strong sense of community through recreation, and the Summer Camp Program reflects that mission in every way. The program is designed to create an environment where children can grow socially, physically, and creatively, supported by staff who work closely with peer groups to offer activities that are engaging, challenging, and developmentally appropriate. Bernardston Summer Camp is a licensed summer day camp through the Franklin Regional Council of Governments, and our team completes extensive training to ensure that every camper enjoys a safe, positive, and enriching experience.
