OUTREACH COORDINATOR NEEDED

The Bernardston Council on Aging is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Outreach Coordinator. This 10-12 hour per week position is responsible for making and maintaining contact with seniors and their caregivers to assess service needs and make referral to services. Person will coordinate appointment times with benefit counselors who can help seniors and caregivers prepare fuel, food assistance , Brown Bag, health insurance and other applications as necessary and will help set up informational/educational programs for seniors and their caregivers.

Make appropriate referrals to service agencies as needed

Must have good organizational and communication skills, be personable, and ability to make assessments. Associate Degree with 1-3 years’ experience with elder services preferred. Pay is $14.00 to $14.75 per hour.
